The play at Ouachita Little Theatre this weekend went very well, if I may say so myself... My lovely girlfriend, Jordan, played the lead in Saturday Afternoons & Sundays performances... The qualifiying rounds are over... We have 18 people in the finals... Theres no tournament next week... Then, on December 12th, the thing everyones been working towards... The Holiday Tournament finals! Good luck to everyone thats in the finals... A few quick reminders & points of interest before the finals... On the 12th, we will be using the randomized fields for the duels... On the 19th, for the Championship, we will not be... Durring the finals, we will be enforcing EVERY rule... Ok, a few IMPORTANT announcements... Ok, first of all, there will be a qualifying round day on November 28th, I know I said there wouldn't be, but there will... Ok, next, There will not be a tournament on December 5th... The reasoning for this is, first of all, to give people an extra week to get into the finals... But secondly, it is because I am going to be doing some work at the Ouachita Little Theatre on December 5th... So I won't be able to be at Rick's, but I'd also like to encourage everyone to come down to Ouachita Little Theatre at 2:30 on the 5th to watch their Production of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"... Anyways, don't worry... The finals will just be on 2 days instead of 3... Which is more convenient anyways... The finals will be on December 12th... & The final 4 duelists will meet on December 19th for the Championship... Thats all I have to update right now...

A few quick updates... Ok, first of all, Happy Halloween! Just a quick reminder, everyone remember to roll your clocks back an hour before you go to sleep... Also, last week, a card out of one of the rental decks, a Limited Edition Miss-Printed Dark Paladin card was stolen, I am currently offering a reward for the return of & any information leading to the rewards of this card... Tommorrow is the tournaments 1 year anniversary tournament... Don't forget, free entrance to everyone... We will not be giving out any prizes... But, we will be having a few bonuses... First of all, everyone that comes will get a random card after they sign up... The cards will be front to front so you can't tell what card your getting... So no cheating there... Okay, a few updates... First of all, we're approaching the Holiday Tournament... DO NOT ask me to let your enter early... You won?t be able to sign up until the tournament arrives... Next business... Tell everyone, I have been letting people use their God cards and suspected fake cards in the tournament... As of the one year anniversary, this will stop... If I see any gods or fakes in the Holiday Tournament, you will get one warning & then I will start taking away your qualification cards... Remember, for the Holiday Tournament, you start with 2 & need 5 to qualify... If you run out, by losing or getting penalized, your eliminated... Then you'll have to pay the $2.00 to re-enter... So, watch it!! That?s all I have right now... My computers still down, so more to come when it gets fixed...

Today was the last day of qualification for the Duelist Kingdom Finals... However, since we only got 10 of 16 finalists... If you are not in the finals yet and you show up next week, if you pay a 3 dollar late entrance fee, I will place you in the finals... If we do not get the 6 finalists we need, some people may have to go into the double duels one on two duelists... There is an up side to this, however... The finals are over... In the quarter finals, Chad Chandler, David Edwards, Allyssa Martin, and John Hanners were all eliminated... Then, the semi-finals... A double duel... Justin Bishop & Stephan Edwards vs. Myself & Michael Covey... Justin & Stephan won... Then, the 3rd/4th Place Finals... I defeated Michael Covey, claiming 3rd Place... Then, the finals... Justin Bishop vs. Stephan Edwards... In a great duel... Justin Bishop became the Battle City champion! Then, after we presented the awards(a Starter Deck Evolution a piece to 1st & 2nd place & a pack a piece to 3rd & 4th place), I presented my Co-Owner, Justin Bishop, with a Plaque, a token of the tournament staffs appreciation before he moves... I think the first ever Battle City Tournament was a huge success... We will be having a tournament next week... See you then...

That due to circumstances beyond his & our control, Paul Siegfried has been forced to retire from his possition as Commissioner & will no longer be dueling, since he no longer has a deck or cards to make one... Unfortunately, Justin Bishop quit the tournament... Over personal reasons... I wish he hadn't, but thats his decision... The rest of the staff will hopefully stay in place to help out with the tournament each & every Sunday at Rick's.

After a slight financial wager... Justin Bishop handed the tournament, and all responsibilitiess over to me... As my first act, I'd like to announce, that according to the Yu-Gi-Oh! version 4.0 rulebook, Magic & Spell cards ARE the same... I'm planning on shaking up the tournament within the next few weeks... I hope to see alot of people at the tournament!

Earlier today, in a briliant sting opperation, Justin, Paul, myself, and a friend of mine, Vernon Wilcox, busted R.J. Hansel for the theft of multiple cards... We caught R.J. with my Luster Dragon, and Jinzo, both with my initials on the back, and Justin's Raigeki, with his initials on the back, along with a few other cards which were reported stolen... We even got R.J. to confess to stealing the cards... But we still needed evidence... And the final bit of evidence, was when Paul's card came up missing... We all searched our pockets, & looked around... Everything had been checked except R.J.'s jacket... We checked it, and sure enough... The card was in the pocket... We then took all of the cards and left... We returned the cards to their rightful owners and banned R.J. from any further tournament...

Yesterday, at the tournament, we had more than one card robbery... We, and I in particular, are sick & tired of this... I, not the tournament, I, am offering a monetary reward for any information leading to the return of these cards... The cards that are missing are: Raigeki(The magic card with the lightening bolt, whipes out all of opponents monsters on field), Jinzo(The effect monster, negates the effects & activation of all trap cards)... I'll update when we identify the rest of the missing cards.

Sunday's Staff Meeting did not go so well. I had a tiny problem with my commissioner, but it was resolved before there was any violence. My new commissioner is Paul Siegfried. He has accepted the task and I am grateful. Nick Worth will still be working on the website. I do not have a problem with that and I hope you don't either.

We have just been made aware of some competion. Games Galore is holding a Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament on Valentines Day! We are getting our whole staff to go to it, just to see what it would be like. We will have more updates later on this week!
