Next week, there will be a four way elimination duel between the four finalists.. This duel will decide who you face in the finals.. The first elimination will face the third elimination, and the second elimination will face the winner... This is a fair way to decide opponents, as, if you don't want to face someone in the finals, either take them out early, or team up with them to the end.. Good luck!

Any physical confrontation that occurs within the next two weeks, the duelist, or duelists, who provoked and did the action will be suspended for the remainder of the Holiday Tournament Qualifying Rounds...

Leave it to the mind of Justin Bishop.... He pointed out, that for a duelists money, if they get eliminated first round of the finals, they get nothing in return.. So, all duelists who manage to qualify for a large tournaments finals, the Holiday Tournament in this case, will earn themself 500 rankings points... This should make the rankings battle quite interesting... However, you get what you pay for.. Right? Sooo... The winner of the Anniversary Tournament, who gets into the finals for free.. Will NOT earn the 500 Bonus Ranking Points...

The pictures from Alice In Wonderland are up and running! Sorry though, I only got pictures from one of the two perfomances I went to, because the once from the second got erased off of the camera.. All the rules and updates have been made... And the 12th duelist in the finals is... Chad Chandler... If your wondering why, I'll tell you... Chad Chandler entered the tournament and got to come one week, then he was struck by a case of walking Pneumonia, due to that, he was unable to duel in the tournament and qualify... He's fine now, and as a result of that, I am inviting him to enter the Summer Slam Tournament Finals... Good luck Chad, & good luck everyone... The finals will be on July 10th, no tournament this Sunday... Also, on a side note, all pictures from the Ouachita Little Theatre Preformance of "Alice In Wonderland" will be up later on today... Congratulations to Chris Tarrell, the winner of the Summer Slam Battle Royal Tournament... He is the newest duelist to join the 10 duelists already qualified in the finals... And also, Brad Basehar has been fired from the Tournament staff... As a result, Grimli Higgins as been bumped up to Commissioner, and the open referee spot will be filled by Valerie Sanders... There have been a few rules added as of today, they will be up on the site early tommorow morning or so... CHECK THEM! We still have one spot in the finals that I would desire filling... The finals will be held on July 10th... Dueling will begin at 1:30... All people who are present at 1:00 will be able to vote on the type of tournament the finals will be... The finals will be held in one of three formats... They are:
1. Every duel except the finals will have a special stipulation(For example: no fusions, rituals, magic cards).
2. In every duel except the finals, on each duelists respective stand-by faze, they lose 50 life points.
3. A combination of the two, in which, all duels except the finals will have the special stipulations, and both duelists will go down 50 life points a turn during the finals

Incase you didn't read the posts on the message board.. Oh, and this is a good one.. Chris Cant has told me where to go, & told me he refuses to have anything to do with the Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament... I was going to ask him to host some stuff for me.. But, his hosting skills are worse than anything I can say on this site... He got mad when I suggested the slightest changes, or mentioned anything I didn't like... Chris.. Your breaking my heart... REALLY MAN!! Yeah...... Riiiiiiiiiight.... Oh, and get this.. So you all are aware of what he's saying.. Little Chris Cant is saying that because his computer was recently infected with Spyware that placed "porn" on his computer, he is saying that he thinks I did it.. The tournament today was pretty nice... No people made it to the finals, but, two championship duels, neither changed hands... Those will be the last championship duels until the week of the finals, so all the champs, just sit back & enjoy your free points... On the day of the finals, all championships will be up... A new rule has been added, so look at it... Its a problem I have been having alot recently!

Is this changing the calendar on such short notice as annoying to you as it is to me? Ok... It's been brought to my attention, that... Due to the 3rd, the new date for the finals, being the day before the 4th of July, that most duelists probably wouldn't be able to make it... Soooooo... After the free Battle Royal on June 26th, we will have a week off for the 4th of July, before resuming for the finals on July 10th... Sorry about all the changes.. This ones for good!! Also, on the week of the 26th, I will not be there, due to a play at the Ouchita Little Theatre... I will most likely have Stephan in charge.. Any bad reports will result in punishment! So, be on your BEST behavior! Not only will I not be at the tournament, I will, for some time after the production, be at the Cast/Crew party in the next room.. So, I will be able to hear everything!

Two more dueling weeks to qualify... I am still trying to work out all problems with the tournament schedule and the play at Ouchita Little Theatre... I think I might have to put off the finals... Bad news is that they'll now be a week later... July 3rd instead of June 26th.. Good new is, that to stop complaints about the finals... We will have a battle royal tournament on the 26th, involving anyone that wants to participate... Free entrance... And the winner will earn one of two things.. Either, qualification into the Summer Slam Tournament finals if they are not already qualified, or a shot at the King of Games Championship on the week of the Summer Slam Tournament Finals if they are already a finalist... Don't get your hopes up people.. But, if things go as planned, we may have a large "Duel Day" Tournament... Grimli & I would be heading it, with help from the rest of my staff... Heres the plan... We will be getting adds into all the local papers in the county.. All surounding cities... And hold a large tournament on a Friday or Saturday this Summer... Nothing is set in stone, as we will still need to find a place large enough to hold a tournament in... But, if everything goes as planned, this will be a great Tournament... After one of the toughest back & forth duels I ever participated in... Stephan & I are now the Co-Champions... Thats right.. We dueled to a draw... Now, if your wondering how this will work.. Just a reminder, the entry fee for the Summer Slam Tournament will be $3, and will give you 2 of 5 qualification cards and entrance into the raffle... The $3 will cover all dueling you do until the week of the finals, or you get eliminated... You may also re-enter the tournament if you get eliminated for a $2 entrance fee, which also give you two more qualification cards and yet another entrance into the raffle for the deck... They will hit the stores Mid-to-late May, and will include 49 cards from previous releases, and 1 new never before seen card in each deck.. We had a pretty nice turnout today... Remember, all duelists get 100 bonus points when they fill out the duelist information sheets... We had alot of duelists fill them out, so alot of points were handed out... We also have new champions.. The Young Champion is still Ronnie Medford.. The Advanced Champion is Grimli Higgins, and the King Of Games is also, Ronnie Medford... Just a side note, I didn't enter this week, or the results would have been different.. hehe... Anyways, there will be no tournament next week... On the 15th, however, Ronnie Medford will be defending the Young Championship against an unknown duelist, and the King Of Games championship against me, and Grimli Higgins will be defending his championship against former champion, Brad Basehar.. The 15th will also mark the start of the Summer Slam Tournament.. Good luck to everyone!!

Tomorrows tournament will be a special free entrance tournament... There will be two tournaments, one involving all of the young class duelists, and one involving the advanced class duelists... The winners of each tournament will face the champions of that class for their championship.. Then, 4 duelists will be choosen to duel in a 4-way duel for the King Of Games Championship... Sunday's tournament was pretty good... Next week we will have free entrance, also, all 3 championships WILL be on the line... There will be two small tournaments to decide who will face the Young and Advanced champions, and then the King of Games Championship will be up in a 4-way elimination duel... Ok.. I had a change of heart.. And decided... I will give Brad 1 more chance as Commissioner... Josh is still ref... On other subjects, I have an idea for the Double Duel Tournament next week... The Advanced and Young Champions will go at it handycapt style... All other teams will concist of 1 duelist from the young, and one from the advanced classes... If 1 of the 2 champions win, they will not have 2 defend their championship, the other champion, however, will... If any team wins the tournament, the duelists in the team will get a shot that day for their classes championship... The King Of Games Champion will put his championship up in a 4-way duel with opponents 2 be named later.. Good luck 2 everyone!

We had more than a few problems at yesterdays tournament... Now, I am NOT going to stand for this! Two decks came up missing, Randal Pochmara's and one of mine, in a black deck box with the name "Valerie S." on it... All the cards were in black card protectors, and it included two Masked Beasts, a Dark Necrofear, and many other powerful fiends, a few with the letters "NJW" carved into the backs in the top left hand corner... IF ANYONE KNOWS THE WEAR ABOUTS OF THESE CARDS, CONTACT ME!! You can find all my info on my staff page!! Thank you!! Now, also, for multiple reasons, Brad Basehar has been fired from his Commissioner spot.. We are now in need of a new staff member.. I will decide who next week!

Ok, as of yesterday, we have ALL the duelists we need for the Sacred Cards Tournament finals... Austin Blanton qualified, and so did his brother, Nathan Willett... I was ingormed that Nathan will not be able to attend the finals, so I was forced to randomly choose a duelist who has already entered to be the 15th & final duelist in the finals... I placed all of the duelists names in a hat, duelists with more points on the rankings boards, were put in more times than the duelists with less, based on their skill level... Aaron Blehm was the duelist entered in the last remaining spot... Good luck to all 15 of the duelists!! Please keep in mind.. The finals are April 3rd! You've made it this far, don't miss the finals! There will be no tournament next week!

Due to the fact that the winner of the Sacred Cards Tournament will become the King of Games Champion, and the fact that the King of Games Champ should get more points and be considered better than the lower two(no argument there, I'm guessing)... I had to make some changes to the points system, and in the process, I had to dock some points from the current champions due to the changes, I did not, however, take away enough to move either champion out of their current ranking spot... You can look at the changes to the rankings and the points system on the rankings page... Oh, and I have put some new info in the cards area, the newest booster pack, Flaming Eternity! Check it out!!

Four duelists are qualified for the Sacred Card Tournament Finals... 11 to go... The Qualified Duelists are as follows... Brad Basehar, Josh Anglin, Randal Pochmara, & myself... Remember, if your in the finals, you cannot enter again until the finals... If you get a runner-up spot in the qualifying tournament, you will get free entrance the next week... & if you are already entered, but haven't gotten in the tob 4, you will have 1/2 entrance fee for the rest of the qualifying rounds... I've got internet at my house finally! So I will be trying to update the site alot more often now... On another subject, I'm sad to report that I was at Dustin & Grim's first ever tournament... And besides the fact that one of the owners(Grim), didn't even show up, only four people showed... Brad Basehar, Casey Bass, Dustin Willis, & myself... For your information, I have a very detailed list of EVERY single duelist who has ever entered the Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament, and "Sam Marks" is not one of them...
I have always been taught to listen to my instincts & the thoughts of others... I have listened to my instincts, & the thoughts, complaints, & ideas of you, Grim, & all of the other Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament Staff & Duelists, & even "Sam Marks"...
The Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament will NOT be working with you & Grim... If you guys open a tournament, the more power to ya, & I wish you very much luck... But as far as my tournament goes, I, along with the staff, will do ouer best to make the tournament better...
I have plans to start offering better prizes, & making alot of other changes, but the prices are not one I see in the immediate future...
I am planning on posting that on the Main Page of the Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Website also, so everyone will get an equil chance to see my views & oppinions on subjects... If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer any & all of them if you just post it on the Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament Message Board.

Super Bowl Sunday is 2-morro... So is the Royal Rumble Tournament... The Royal Rumble Tournament will go like this... The duelists will have 4000 Life Points... All of the duelists that enter will be randomized... Two duelists will be chosen at random, the first 2 duelists will duel for 2 rounds, then another duelist will enter the mix, after that, every 1 round, another duelist will enter until all of the duelists have entered... The last duelist to not be eliminated will win... There will not be ANY Championship duels 2-morro... Good luck to all of the duelists...

I got an idea while brain storming... So, as of next week, we are going to have "Champions"... The champions will defend their championship whenever a challenge arises, if they refuse to defend their championship 3 weeks in a row, they will be stripped... They will get 25 points when they win the championship, & 10 a week for holding it... The championships are: Young Championship(Younger than age 11), Advanced Championship(11 & older), & King of Games Champion(Open to anyone)... On January 23rd, we will hold the duel out of the qualified duelists there for the Young Championship... Then, on January 30th, we'll hold the duel for the Advanced Championship... & then the winner of the Sacred Cards tournament will become the King of Games Champion... The library's server is letting me get onto geocities.com again, so I can update the site more often... Check around for alot of new updates! Heres a few... First of all, the prices for the Mena Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament have changed... Large Tournaments that take up many weeks will cost $3.00 to enter, $2.00 to re-enter, and $1.00 for additional qualification cards... Special Tournaments, such as Double Duel will cost $2.00 to enter... And regular tournaments will charge a $1.00 entrance fee... Secondly, there are soem new rules that may affect a few of your decks... If you have a Ritual or Fusion Monster in your deck, check them out expecially... And finally, on January 30th, we will have a large "Battle Royal" tournament... Everyone that shows up, in a all out free for all... Whats the catch? The winner is quarenteed a spot in the finals of the Sacred Cards Torunament coming up imediately following! Thats all for now... Check around to see whats changed!
