The 5th Anniversary/2008 Hall Of Fame Event was a huge sucess, and not only are the 2008 Hall of Fame results in, but, the 2008 Season 5 Championship has been decided... Everything is updated.... Season 6 also began at the event, as the Event actually fell on October 19th, which is the day of the first Tournament 5 years ago... So, season 5 is now behind us, and 6 has just begun... Sorry about the lack of updates... Been busy with College... The next Tournament is September 20th, 11AM at Really Great Pizza(Where Else?!)... That will be the final Tournament before the 5th Anniversary Tournament... At the 5th Ann, the Hall Of Fame winners will be announced, and then we will have a Christmas Charity Event in December, that will decide who wins the Season Championship... The points are updated.... And, I am happy to Announce, we are going to be holding the Innagural Mena Gaming Association Chase For The Championship.... Here are the rules of the Chase: As Of June 30th, The Rankings Were Re-Calculated For The MGA Chase For The Championship. The Top 14 Points Were Made To Equil 5,000, Thus Ensuring That Noone Outside Of The Top 14 Could Participate In The Chase. Then, Points Were Awarded For ONLY 1st Places Throughout The Season(10 For Specialty Tournaments/Events, 5 For Normal Tournaments/Events). Then, They Fight To Get Into & Stay In The Top 10 During The Two Tournaments In August, And On August 31st, The Top 10 Gain An Additional 5,000 Points, To Knock 11th-14th Out Of The Chase. The Top 10 Then Battle It Out For The Top Spot Through Two Tournaments In September. And Finally The Chase Culminates On The 5th Anniversary On October 19th. Any Ties Are Broken By The Total Points Over All MGA Seasons. ~ Nick **Salutes J.B.**

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Tournament last weekend, was, to say the LEAST, disapointing... For those of you who DON'T know, James McGee had asked the Mena Gaming Association to co-sponsor the Tournament with him. As of last weekend, all was good, but he no-showed at the last minute... I am sorry to disapoint everyone, and I promise, that was the last time in the forseeable future that I will do any tournaments with someone unreliable... I've got some special opportunities to gain bonus points coming up fast... They include answering 10 random trivia questions(worth 5 pts per correct answer, 100 pts for a perfect score), predicting the winner of the Super Bowl which is tomorrow(in sort of a "gambling pot" format, 10 points added for every person who enters, then the points are divided among the participants who picked the winning team), and predicting the winners of 5 matches on an upcoming Wrestling Pay Per View(10 pts for each correct prediction, 100 Pts for predicting all correctly)... I'm really wanting to add some points to the rankings to make things more interesting... If you wish to participate in any bonus point opportunities, feel free to call me, otherwise you can participate in the majority of them at the next tournament, February 16th...
